Fri-YAY Cocktail: Vodka-Ade - Chronicling Home

Fri-YAY Cocktail: Vodka-Ade

4:00:00 AM

It's FRIDAY! I thought we would never make it to Friday. It has been the LONGEST week ever! To be honest, I feel like I say that every week. So on this warm August day, I bring you one of my favorite  cocktails. Once again it's super easy, because let's be real after a 40 hour work week, easy cocktails are a must.

Ingredients

  • Strawberry Lemonade: I LOVE the Country Time mix, but if you want to make homemade lemonade that works just as good
  • Vodka or Sprite
  • Strawberries or lemons: if you want to muddle some fruit into the drink for an extra kick

Directions
  • Make the lemonade mixture then pour in your desired amount of vodka. If you want it stronger, pour with a heavy hand. If you're under 21 or prefer something without alcohol, try Sprite
  • Stir and make sure all of the powder mixture has been dissolved
  • Top it off by adding mashed up strawberries or lemon slices to the pitcher
  • Enjoy!

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! We are headed to the County Fair and the local Farmer's Market this weekend! I am excited to pick up some fresh veggies and fruit and getting some fresh air with my love. Until Monday, Cheers!
