Cruising The Bahamas

4:00:00 AM

I'm back! What a long and spectacular week I've had! So sorry for dropping off the face of the planet, I was cruising the Bahamas with no Wi-Fi! So since I've been gone for a little while, I'll catch you up on all the things going on!

Tyler and I celebrated our first anniversary on October 4! It's hard to believe that it's already been a year since my hubby and I said our vows in front of dear family and friends. We have done so many cool things this year and can only hope to do many more this next year! I loved learning more about my husband, while I learned a lot about myself. We were long distance from the minute we met, until the day we said I Do. There was a lot of learning, adjusting, and laughing through any difficult times. I'll share some of my favorite wedding photos, because let's be real, I'm still madly in love with my wedding.

I had pearls in my veil, which was one of my favorite parts!

Fun fact: Tyler and I met on Twitter! So we paid homage to our first meeting!

We decided to take a cruise this year for an anniversary trip, since we went to Italy for our honeymoon. Tyler wanted a relaxing vacation and this cruise was incredible. We sailed through the Bahamas all the while darting Hurricane Joaquin! The waters were a bit choppy, but there were so many fun things to distract from the rocking of the boat. We were unable to hit Nassau since the hurricane was churning right over the island, but we were able to go to another port of call. I think my favorite thing we did was a Chocolate & Liquor tasting in the darling Pink Champagne Lounge. It was so darling! I am sooo sad I had to come home and have to go back to work. I want to stay on vacation so bad, but reality is knocking.

The Pink Champagne Lounge is so cute!

The chandelier is supposed to look like champagne bubbles

The moon at sea is absolutely stunning

It was Halloween on the High Seas!

Unfortunately, it's back to reality and back to our daily lives! Happy to be back to blogging though! I can't wait to share my post on Fall decorating!
