Halloween Treats

4:00:00 AM

Yesterday I introduced the Teal Pumpkin Project and talked about giving little treat sacks to the children who have some type of food allergy. I had the most fun shopping around to find the cutest little items to include into the gift bags!

Tyler and I raided Target's Halloween section and found classic Halloween toys to use! Obviously we included spider rings and vampire teeth! Can't have Halloween without those little ones! I also included a little thing of bubbles, a bouncy ball, and sugar skull erasers. Can we talk about how darling the erasers are? I want to keep some for myself..I may have to go back!

To make the gift bags, I used adorable cat and ghost cellophane bags and twist tied them up when all the things were inside the bag. Super quick and super easy! They turned out adorable! I really hope the trick-or-treaters really like them!

What do y'all do for the kids on Halloween?!

  1. These are really cute! You're always so creative. I stick to nut-free candy for giveaways, but I try to carve cool pumpkins to make my porch look a bit festive!

  2. This is cute!
I live in an apartment right now so we don't hand out candy to kids but I can't wait to participate in the Halloween festivities like this whenever we officially have a house.

  4. My dad has tons of food allergies and so does my sister--so I love the idea of having things that aren't just candy! When I was little I loved the vampire teeth (even if it made me drool all over myself haha)
