Thanksgiving Decor

4:00:00 AM

It's November! Honestly though, can y'all believe it!? Where has 2015 gone! I already packed away all my Halloween decor and pulled out my Thanksgiving beauties! I'm not the biggest fan of setting Christmas up until after Thanksgiving. I like to take my holidays one at a time!

When I think of Thanksgiving, I think of warmth, turkey, and pumpkins! I don't go too crazy with the Thanksgiving decor, but I do add a nod to the holiday in cute little ways! I have changed up the mantle decor a tad, the centerpieces on the kitchen table, and the centerpiece on the dining table. I love the way it looks and I'm excited to show my family who comes in T-minus 3 weeks!

I love love this darling turkey candle holder! I picked it up at Bath and Body Works (seriously, no joke!) and the associates at the store lovingly referred to him as Butterball! I thought that was way too cute, so I kept it up and Butterball now lives on my Kitchen table!

For the mantle, I kept all of the same decor from my earlier post on decorating for fall, but I added a little Thanksgiving pops. I have always loved the story of the first Thanksgiving, so I always have a pair of Pilgrims and Native Americans. They're so iconic for the holiday and I really love how gorgeous these are. I bought them last year at Hobby Lobby, so I don't know if these are still there. I can imagine they have similar sets though! Also, don't forget to grab the 40% off coupon before going!!

For the dining table, I just took the pumpkins I used before and added my pair of lanterns. I bought these lanterns at Target for under $15! That is such a steal, because lanterns go for crazy expensive prices at other stores! I think it looks fun and festive!

What do y'all think? Do you decorate for Thanksgiving?

  1. How cute!
I wish I could decorate more but we have virtually no storage space in our apartment to hold the décor during the off season. Soon enough we will be in a two bed so we will have a little more space.

  11. Fall decor can be so hard because the balance between stylish and cheesy can be so fine around this time of year. Love those options, though!

  13. That little turkey is adorable! We probably won't decorate for Thanksgiving this year, just because we always spend that holiday traveling. My Halloween decorations are mostly just fall related, so I plan on leaving the pumpkins out another week and then gearing up for Christmas! I'm spending Thanksgiving in New York, so I hope to have my apartment decorated for Christmas before I leave, so that I can come home to a festive little place :)
