#WeddingWednesday: What to do with the Leftover Wedding Tidbits

7:07:00 AM

The wedding is over. You danced, kissed, hugged, ate, partied, cried and now you have a BUNCH of leftover little trinkets. Your wedding planner or designated friend grabbed all the little things left behind. Think, you cake topper, your garter, a program, an invitation, a cocktail napkin, etc. What are you going to do with all of these? You could always put them in a box along with your dress or you can put them on display. I was too in love with everything from my wedding that I had to find a way to keep everything out and on display.

With all this in mind, I created a little and super easy DIY project.

What you'll need:

  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Shadow box or gallery frame
  • Decorative Paper
  • Little tidbits from the wedding

How to do it:
  • Frame out where exactly you want everything to be, because once you put that hot glue it's down for good.
  • When you've got it perfectly placed, glue down the back of the decorative paper to the shadow box cardboard backing.
  • Add glue to each piece and press down on the paper.
  • Once everything is glued down, just put the backing of the box back on and voila!
  • You could also do a gallery frame and have one little tidbit framed in each different frame. That would be a really neat way to display them!

My bestie gave me the button from when she worked at WDW!

The project is really easy, but oh so effective. I love being able to see my gorgeous J cake topper, my garter and my invitation everyday. It makes me feel oh so happy to be reminded of the best day of my life.
