Behind the Blog: Tori Moore

4:00:00 AM

Happy Tuesday everybody! Tyler and I had the best weekend down in Houston celebrating my good friend's wedding. She married her hubby in a darling Kate Spade inspired wedding on Saturday! I had so much fun getting to meet new people, dance the night away, and eat really good cake! Y'all, her bridesmaid dresses were the cutest things I've ever seen. They were black and white striped with one pink stripe on the bottom. Can you say perfect?! Tyler and I were able to visit the Houston Aquarium which was a lot of fun! They even had two beautiful white tigers who were totally my favorite part of the entire aquarium.

Today in the Behind the Blog series, I'm featuring another fabulous blogger! Introducing, Tori from Tori Moore! She loves the Bachelorette, grilled cheese, and is a totally awesome person. Here are her 10 facts so you can get to know her better!

1. I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I currently attend the University of South Carolina where I study Broadcast Journalism. I’m a senior and graduating in December! Hopefully I’ll be working in a Top 50 TV market or running social media for a sports company!

2.  I spent my spring 2015 semester abroad in Salzburg, Austria (the Sound of Music was filmed there!!). I speak some German and I absolutely wouldn’t have studied abroad anywhere else. I can go on and on about my days in Austria and studying abroad in general, so I’ll spare y’all for now. ;)

3. I’ve actually studied abroad three times. I spent two weeks in Peru after my freshman year, spring semester abroad my sophomore year, and another two weeks in Oman after this past year. I love travelling and I am so thankful and appreciative that I have had all of these experiences!

4. My all time favorite novel is To Kill a Mockingbird. I read it in 10th grade and have read it at least twice a year since then! Even after reading it so many times, I still laugh and cry in the same spots every time!

5. I’m a city person who loves the mountains. I am definitely not a small-town type of girl and could never live in a town smaller than 100,000! (And even THAT might be too small!) My family has a mountain house in Sky Valley, Georgia and I love hiking and relaxing in the mountains.

6.  I’ve skied once a year since I was three years old. I always joke that in my next life I’m an Olympic skier – ha! My dad taught me to ski in Colorado, but I’ve been skiing in Utah, Wyoming, British Columbia, North Carolina, Switzerland and Austria!

7. My absolute favorite food in the entire world is PIZZA. I will literally eat pizza for any meal any day or place. I can’t get enough!! Pizza with pineapple and ranch dressing is my favorite. YUM.

8. I’m a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority at USC. I love being a part of Greek life because of the connections it has given me! No matter where I meet other sisters, I know that we always have something in common!

9.  My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. Sometimes the calendar works out so that my birthday is also Thanksgiving! Those are obviously the best birthdays because I get to spend time with family, eat amazing food (pumpkin pie, anyone?), and watch football.

10. I hope to move up north after graduation, but I want to raise a family back in the south. I’m thinking Greenville (or even Atlanta if my parents stay) or Charleston – both close enough that I can have season tickets to see the Gamecocks play! Haha! ;)

Isn't she just the cutest?! I love that she really adores pineapple on my pizza, because that's my favorite too! Make sure to follow her on Twitter & Instagram

  2. It was such an intimate moment and you could really feel the love and energy in the place. Our ceremony at Seattle Wedding venues was the most beautiful and romantic ceremony I could have ever expected (and all our guests made sure to tell us they felt the same way once it was over!).

  3. I called Bloom Flowers to order for my wife to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. Thanks to the friend who pointed me in the direction of this amazing florist. Cannot stop swooning over their Instagram and thinking about flowers.
